Land HOOO!

Today's outfit was the perfect jump starter for spring! If y'all are like me, you're tired of these cold, windy, over cast days. Lords knows I am. I'm ready for shorts, sundresses and sandals. These trendy capris and the sweatshirt were perfect for today. It wasn't quite warm enough for a short sleeve or sleeveless top yet. The material of this shirt is so lightweight and soft, I can see myself wearing it often. The bright green colors can add excitement to any dull, dreary day :)

My bootleg model poses lol

This necklace is also from the clearance and was $1.99. As far as the earrings go, I've had these for years. Surprised that they've held up this long. Y'all know how that saying, "You get what you pay for" goes.

Surprisingly these wedges were comfortable and I was able to wear them all day.

This bracelet was $1.99! Y'all know how much I love clearance jewelry! Majority of my jewelry comes from the clearance rack because you can almost always find something worth while on there for a decent price.

Talkin' About Split Personalities

Here's today's outfit:

I don't think there was really any inspiration behind my outfit today. I was just browsing through the clothing racks and came across this skirt. $10 was an amazing price to pay for the skirt. I'm a HUGE fan of maxi skirts because they're so versatile. They can go from school, to the office to a night out. The split in this skirts gives it sex appeal and makes it more of a night time garment. But I still wore it to school anyways. The top is really comfortable with an edgy feel. The faux leather shoulders aren't heavy and you barely know they're there. The spikes give it a grunge edge which I love!

The shoes are an ox blood color, suede lace up bootie. I bought these as a form of the platform lace up booties with the wooden heels. I've been dying, hoping, and praying to run across a pair of them that are reasonable priced and fit my budget but that hasn't happened yet( fingers crossed), so I settled for these. Y'all know the struggle! I think these are on every girl's wish list. Overall these shoes went all day without giving me too much trouble. They don't hurt your feet as much as other heels, so I could see myself wearing them often.

Here are some other pictures.

I love how I got that whole skirt blowing in the wind thing going on in the last picture lol!

Ready for the Rodeo!!

Yesterday's outfit was extremely fitting for a rodeo show lol. I looked like Dolly Parton when she was still singing country music.

I was looking for the perfect opportunity to wear these cowboy boots I have since I don't have many outfits that I can wear them with. This outfit seemed like the perfect thing to wear them with.

Here is a close up of my boots. I got them for Christmas so I can't tell you where they came from.

On top I'm wearing:

A light washed Levi's vest
A white button down Levi' s shirt
The necklace is from a local clothing store. Clearance jewelry FTW!!

The pants are high waisted Levi's and the belt is one that I took from a shirt

Here are some full body pictures.

What do you guys think?

All Black EVERYTHING!!

Yesterday's outfit was pretty chill. The dress, which came from Old Navy, was extremely comfortable and suitable for everyday wear. It felt more like wearing an oversized T-Shirt. The dress was affordable and wasn't overpriced, although I can't remember how much it cost. I tied the dress to give it a little flair. The outfit was a little plain for me. I usually like to wear outfits with more substance and layers.

Jacket: Levis
Dress: Old Navy
Shoes: Charlotte Russe

This necklace is something very simple and can be worn with many different outfits. I wear it often.

My makeup was a simple cat eye. I started it with the black and then traced the black line with a sliver. This was done using liquid eyeliner. The lipstick is just a plain black that I got from a local beauty supply store.

Creepers have made a comeback!!! These 90's grunge shoes can look great with almost any outfit. These were $32 at Charlotte Russe. But I got them on sale with the Buy one get one $15.50 sale

Another makeup picture so that you could see it on my entire face.

These were bought at Old Navy on clearance. I love the simple design, although they can be quite heavy.
